Store bought Barbecue sauce typically has about 12 or more carbs per 2 Tbls serving enough to ruin your day’s allowed total. This recipe has a much lower carb level enabling you to enjoy Barbecue on your low carb diet.
Healthy Low-Carb Barbecue Sauce
You may have noticed that nearly all store bought barbecue sauces contain high-fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, or sugar as first or second ingredients, this makes pork ribs or grilled chicken into a high sugar meal.
This low-carb BBQ sauce has about 8 grams of carbs per quarter cup due to the carbs from tomatoes and the bit of molasses. (The molasses is optional) use on ribs, chicken, or beef that alone have zero carbs, and you can enjoy your barbecue guilt free.
